Indie World dropped this morning, talking about games that are on the horizon and ones that have already been released that will be coming to the Nintendo Switch or the Nintendo Switch 2.
The good news is that even if you don’t have a Nintendo Switch system, this still serves as a fantastic list of games to keep on your radar if you’re looking for your next cozy game. Due to the fact that some of these cozy games don’t have pages on Nintendo’s shop yet, I’ll just be linking to the Steam pages.

Outbound
Outbound is an open-world survival craft game that you can play solo or with up to 4 players. Start with an empty camper van and build it up through scavenging materials and crafting things yourself. By advancing technology, you can be self-sufficient! Explore the colorful world around you, grow a variety of plants, and adopt a new friend to keep you company on the road!
Outbound doesn’t release on Steam until April 23rd.
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories is a simulation game that takes place in early 1990s Japan. You’ll play as Makoto Hayakawa, a college student spending her summer working at a convenience store. Keep the store stocked and tidy, collect toys from the gachapon machine outside, and consider your responses carefully since this game has branching dialogues. All the while, you can enjoy an ASMR-like soundscape.
inKONBINI: One Store. Many Stories doesn’t release until April 30th.


Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is an Action-RPG game where you take on the role of a merchant. You find yourself, along with others, stranded in a town with no money. It’ll be up to you to get back on your feet and create a thriving shop. But, it takes a village, as they say, so be sure to invest in the town and others because in doing so, you’ll reap greater rewards in gear and more!
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is out on Steam for $29.99. It’s currently sporting a “mostly positive” rating on Steam.
TOEM 2
TOEM 2 is a platforming photography adventure game set a few years after the original TOEM game. Return to the black and white world to photograph the mysterious “events” known as TOEM’s. Platform your way up buildings to get a new vantage point and make your way through several new regions.
TOEM 2 doesn’t have an exact release date yet; we just know it’ll be Q3 of this year.


Woodo
Woodo is a diorama puzzle game where you assemble a scene of wooden pieces to create a bigger image. Find the correct spots for objects and watch the white base of the diorama slowly fill with color and life. Experience a friendly narrator, a gameplay that adapts to your speed, and a bunch of funny characters and silly animations.
Woodo doesn’t have a release date just yet.
My Little Puppy
My Little Puppy is a bittersweet and heartwarming tale about Bong-gu, a Welsh Corgi who is waiting for his dad after crossing the rainbow bridge. One day, Bong-gu gets a whiff of his human and sets out on a journey to escape dog heaven in order to find him. For those apprehensive about how the story ends, the developer promises a reunion between Bong-gu and his dad.
My Little Puppy was released on November 6th, 2025 and is $24.99. It currently has an “overwhelmingly positive” rating on Steam.


Mixtape
Mixtape is a narrative adventure about growing up and life moving in different directions from those you grew up with. You’ll play out the final party a group of friends attend and along the way, you’ll see snapshots of their memories that led to this moment through vignettes. This game features classic music from giants like DEVO, Siouxsie and the Banshees, the Cure, and so many more! Replay the greatest hits of the teenage experience.
Mixtape has a release date of May 7th.
Blue Prince
Blue Prince is a mystery-based puzzle exploration game. Explore the manor in Mt. Holly and search for the rumored Room 46. This game puts the decisions in your hands. When you come upon a closed door, you’re the one who decides what’s behind it. Your progress each day is decided by the rooms you choose to draft. Will you find Room 46, or will you only find more mysteries?
Blue Prince was released on April 10th, 2025 and has received several awards. You can get it for $29.99 and it’s currently got a “very positive” rating on Steam.
