Earlier this month, Fortnite introduced its player base to the show South Park, full of references to the show, like the theme park Cartmanland and the mini-event, “Born in Chaos”. Born in Chaos is similar to previous mini-events, where you complete themed Quests around the pass to earn a special glider while also earning other cosmetics and free levels.
As of January 25th, 2026, there are now five sections of Quests unlocked, out of six, where you can earn “Cred” (the way to unlock things in the mini-pass) by doing the quests. The newest one is a little more difficult to decipher, though, as it’s given to you from Kenny’s point of view.
Born in Chaos: Part 5 – Mph Mmmph Mhh Mmph
If you’re unfamiliar with South Park, Kenny is among the original members of the group who wears his orange jacket just a little too tight, making it where he’s hard to understand. He speaks in muffled, almost incoherent mumbles. That’s important to know as you work your way through “Born in Chaos – Part 5 – Mph Mmmph Mhh Mmph”. Oh, and he dies a lot. That’s important, too.
As of writing, the Reddit community has been working together after the new Born in Chaos Quests became available to try to figure out what each of the Quests actually are, as casual fans or non-South Park enthusiasts may not get the gag. So, here’s what they’ve figured out.
“Mph mpphmmph” – I’m an angel keeping watch over the city at night

This is a reference to Kenny’s superhero alter ego, Mysterion. If you hover over or choose this Quest, you’ll see Mysterion’s logo on Battlewood Boulevard. This quest is a gimme, as you just need to go to Battlewood Boulevard to the top of the zipline tower and you’ll earn it.
Some Redditors claim you should land on the tower from the battle bus, and it’ll immediately claim the Quest reward. But, others say just going to the map marker counts as well, possibly due to a glitch. If it doesn’t pop up, just take the zipline up and it’ll work.
“Mmmmpmpph mmhhmph” – In Loving Memory, Kenny McCormick
This quest, as far as the Reddit thread recommends, is just to die with a Kenny Respawn token. The only way you won’t get this one is if you win the match without dying while holding the Token.
As these specific Tokens are hard to find, usually in Rare Chests, it’s possible to find them in some Special-o-Matic vending machines. You can find them around the map, but you’ll see them often at gas stations, and it’ll set you back 2,000 gold.
“Mph mpmphh mmmph” – I’m being serious. I really, really can’t die.
This one requires you to be revived three times. You’ll likely need to work in a Duo or higher to attain it. But, the newly mobile Reboot vans also allow you to now revive yourself in a pinch, as long as you’re only downed.
The Reddit threads recommend working with a partner and jumping from cliffs to get downed without dying, and then getting revived. Rinse and repeat.
Note that using the Kenny Revive Tokens does not work for this quest.
“Mphmmph mhhmmph” – Use your ninja star!
This one is in reference to the time Kenny and the gang pretended to be ninjas, complete with an anime-esque art style. Kenny has the ninja star that he threw at Professor Chaos, aka Butters, striking him in the eye.
You’ll need to get 10 headshots to complete this quest.
“Mmmh mpphh mmmph” – Wee! He can fly! He can fly!
This quest just requires you to be airborne for 200m. People say that sprinting and jumping count toward the 200, as well as using the Wingsuit or hot air balloons. You can use a launch pad. Just make sure to get a little distance.
“Mph mpph mhppmmph” – My followers shall help see me through until I am accepted as a princess by all

For this quest, you’ll need to hire a specialist NPC. They’re scattered around the map and cost 600 gold to hire. So, open every chest you come across, or loot the goods of dead opponents, and you’ll get 600 gold relatively quickly. The hireable NPC’s are marked on the map on this particular quest.
In any case, completing four of these quests will unlock a Memberberry for the “Born in Chaos” event. Getting all six Memberberries will unlock the Imaginationland Airship glider. But, as each of these quests gives 400 Cred toward finishing the mini-event, you want to finish as many as possible to earn every goodie.
As there is no official list of Quests for Part 5 of Born in Chaos, some of these answers are pure speculation on the part of people just playing and experiencing the game, mere hours after the quests launched. If an official list of Part 5 quests drops, we’ll update this guide.
