Instants caught our attention back in February with the release of their demo and, quite honestly, it might be one of our favorite scrapbooking games in recent memory. During the Wholesome Direct, they showed off a little more of the full game in their launch trailer and proudly announced that it’s out now!
Instants, developed by the indie studio Endflame, is a heartfelt story about family, told gradually through puzzles and scrapbooking. Decorate your scrapbook your own way and follow the journey through photos.

Endflame, according to the press release we were emailed, “is an indie studio based in Catalunya, Spain, made up of a multidisciplinary team of developers who want to immerse players into remarkable experiences by bringing stories to life. Their debut title Ikai launched in 2021, and they’re currently working on the narrative puzzler Instants.”
As mentioned, we demoed Instants earlier this year and absolutely had a blast with it. If you’re into puzzle games that give some puzzle design, such as Sticky Business and Pieced Together, we highly recommend this game.
Starting today, you can find Instants on both Steam and the Nintendo Switch at the full value of $11.99. For the next two weeks (until June 21st), however, there is a discount on both editions at $9.95 for the introductory offer. On Steam, you can also bundle the game with the soundtrack for just $12.99 during the same time frame.
