Nintendo eShop has several new games dropping this week and bleeding into next week. There are 34 new titles that will be available and some of these are bundles, so that’s even more games to be tempted by.

I’ll be honest, not all of these are winners. In fact, you’ll likely find that most of them aren’t to your own taste. But, you never know when you’re going to find a diamond in the rough.

Here are the 8 games that we picked out that seemed interesting. There is a bit of variance to them and they might not all be the coziest, but these are the ones that appealed to us.

If you enjoy platformers, you’ll love getting to explore the technology based world; Byteland. Play by yourself or with a friend and experience the varied types of play like musical, rhythm-driven challenges or magnetic gameplay.

This game comes with 4 DLC included: dinos vs robot battles, Winter maps, Halloween maps, and hovercraft races. – Normally $19.99, but is on sale for $15.99 until January 31st, 2025.

BURGER RACE

If you’re a fan of racing games, BURGER RACE might be a fun one to add to your collection. You drive around as fast food items that each have unique abilities. You can even utilize items if you want to start wars. Play by yourself or with 3 other friends. I call the frymobile. – Normally $7.00, but is on sale for $5.00 until January 30th, 2025

Cozy Farming 3 in 1 Collection

What’s better than one cozy game? Three!

In Harvest Life, you’ll manage your own farm by growing crops, taking care of animals, and expanding the village.

In Stranded Sails, you’ll sail the high seas exploring islands, planting crops, and uncovering secrets!

In Castaway Paradise, we put down roots on a tropical island. You’ll grow crops, decorate your surroundings, and make new friends! – $9.99

Crowd Run

We’ve all seen the commercials and wished the games were real. Crowd Run brings one of those games to life. You’ll be able to battle hoards of enemies by collecting weapons and explosives as you run down a bridge going through one of two options that will affect how big or small your army grows. – Normally $2.99, but is on sale for $1.99 until January 29th, 2025.

Cute Puppy Academy

Who doesn’t want to play with a yard full of puppies? In Cute Puppy Academy, you can wash, feed, play with, and train puppies. You can even take them on walks! Buy kennels to train more puppies and toys to keep them entertained. There are a few mini-games to test your puppy’s endurance or agility and as you expand the facility, you’ll open up more decorations and challenges! Honestly, this reminds me of Little Friends: Puppy Island, which we loved.– Normally $19.99, but is on sale for $2.99 until January 17th, 2025.

Make it! Oden

Be the master of an oden shop. Playing by yourself or with up to 4 people, cater to your customers by creating specific oden orders. Pop the ingredients into the vat and wait for them to finish cooking then serve them to the right customer. If you’re competitive, you can test your merits on the global leadership boards! – Normally $5.00, but is on sale for $3.00 until January 16th, 2025

Platform 4

If you’re looking for your next horror fix, then you may want to give Platform 4 a try. It’ll look familiar to those who have played Exit 8, like us, or other “spot the anomaly” type games. Play through 7 loops of the same station; if you see something strange then board the rear car and turn back. If it’s all clear, continue forward in the lead car. Playtime is 15-60 minutes. – $3.00

Super Onion Boy+

If you miss the days of retro Super Mario, you’ll enjoy the vibe of Super Onion Boy+. Travel through different environments in a quest to save the princess imprisoned in a bubble. As you journey toward your goal, you’ll find chests filled with potions that will grant you superpowers!
