In Pokémon TCG Pocket, you can both collect and battle Pokémon Trading Card Game cards from sets that come out monthly. As you open booster packs, you’re given five cards each time, sometimes including something a bit rarer. But, for those who are unaware, as you open booster packs, there is a very small chance that you can get something called a God Pack.
God Packs, or Rare Packs as they’re officially known, can potentially be pulled at a very low chance. For instance, to pull one of the rarest types of cards in the game, Crown Rare cards, you’re looking at a 5% chance as the drop rate. God Packs, for comparison, come in at a .5% chance.
What can you get in a Pokémon TCG Pocket God Pack?

Rare Packs are going to give you 1-star cards, minimally. This means that you can potentially get full art trainers, shiny rare cards, rainbow rares, special art rares, or gold cards. And you get five of them in a single pack!
God Packs (or Rare Packs) are based on a real thing that you can potentially get in the physical Pokémon Trading Card Game, known by the same names. There is a very small chance in multiple Japanese and English sets that could merit you a full God Pack. For instance, in the semi-recent Japanese set, Terastral Festival, you could pull a full set of the rare Eevee evolution (or Eeveelution) cards that are very rare and worth quite a lot of money each.
It’s also worth noting that you can pull duplicate cards in the same pack, and you might also get cards you already have previously. Some people luck out and get five new cards, though. Either way, it’s a number game, and the more packs you open, the higher the chance you have of getting a Rare Pack.
You can also Wonder Pick from someone else’s God Pack!

If someone on your Pokémon TCG Pocket friends list pulls a god pack, there is a chance that pack could appear in your Wonder Pick. If it happens, you can Wonder Pick from their pack, but it’s going to cost you 4 Wonder Stamina. Considering you’re getting a guaranteed good pull, it’s definitely worth it. Keep an eye out for your Wonder Picks for this chance.
