Puzzle enthusiasts can literally unite in this new game, Friendship Dungeon: Party Puzzler, from the amazing minds at Kool2Play. Pick a character, jump on a platform, and start swapping the ground beneath your feet to find keys and treasures, dodge monsters, save fallen friends, and most importantly, escape to the next room.
From constantly being killed by mosquitoes to repeatedly using the special mob-busting dash to mow down everything in my path in a blind panic, we were laughing from start to finish of the Friendship Dungeon: Party Puzzler demo.
Although we initially tested it with only two people, the game is designed to accommodate up to four players at once. You do need a controller at this time, hopefully they will add keyboard accessibility to Friendship Dungeon: Party Puzzler in a future update!
Friendship Dungeon: Party Puzzler is such a cute game and great for puzzlers!
Progress through the maps via majority rule to visit shops, find special puzzles, and advance through different scenarios. Decorate areas with your spoils, increase stats, and test new abilities the longer you survive. The longer you survive, the more you can do!
You may find you most identify with the cute vampire, the sleepy witch, the punk skull, or the blob with a flippin’ sweet baseball cap. Each one comes with its own special abilities as you progress. Try them all to find the style that resonates with you!

My only caution is for those in the disabled community. This game does rely on quick thinking and fast reflexes. The game only works with controllers, making it difficult for those using modified supports.
If you aren’t sure, I would recommend testing out the demo to see if the game is playable before fully committing. Hopefully, as Kool2Play gets more feedback, we’ll see accommodations for the community that will allow us all to play and experience the game! In the meantime, if you’re looking for a great game with lower stakes, no time limits, or penalties, check out Is This Seat Taken?
Check out the demo available on Steam, and get ready for Friendship Dungeon: Party Puzzler to release on December 8th, 2025.
