Pollinarium is here to delight turn-based fans with a minimalist farming strategy game! Each garden is procedurally generated, so no two playthroughs will be the same!

In Pollinarium, you’ll draw cards each day that represent the seeds you can plant. It’s not just vegetable cards that you can snag, however. Amongst the garden bounty are a few appliance cards that may give you things like apiaries, ponds, or rainwater tanks. The strategy comes in by deciding where things go. You’ll have to plan for synergy and make sure things work in your layout.

Each plant has its own traits that you’ll have to plan for. Every plant will have its own harvest value, growth speed, regrowth time, and harmony balance. What I mean by harmony is that every plant thrives or struggles depending on what you place nearby. Some plants may enjoy being next to carrots while others wilt. Appliances have an area of effect as well that will help your harvest, so you have to be mindful of their placements, too.

As the day progresses, you’ll be able to see your plants evolve through several growth stages, and once they’re done, it’s harvest time!

You don’t have to worry about remembering to water, and while there is a bit of time management, you’re not looking at a ticking time clock. You’re free to plan out as long as you need, but you’ll have a certain number of days available to you in order to rack up the required amount of points. Just plan your garden for the best yield, and when you harvest, you’ll be rewarded with the maximum amount of points.

We can expect Pollinarium to drop sometime in the last quarter of the year, but there’s no word on how much it will be when it launches. If you’d like to keep Pollinarium on your radar and help out the developer, head over to Steam and wishlist it.
