Long Live My Lady! is a new management game coming sometime in Q3 of this year. So, it’s just far enough off to feel like an eon, but not quite far enough to feel like eternity. Long Live My Lady! takes you along the story of a dwarf running a tavern in the middle of a dungeon.
This dwarf has taken over ownership from the previous landlady, who has fallen into a deep slumber. As such, the tavern has fallen into disrepair. It’s up to you to restore the glory of what once was. You’ll do that by furnishing the tavern with decorative items that have a positive effect on visitors.
Speaking of visitors, you’ll want to make sure that you take care of your guests in a timely manner. This isn’t just resource management, it’s time management as well. It’ll be up to you to wisely plan your schedule.

It’s not all just brewing beer and serving stew, however. You have other duties to tend to, like completing some quests your visitors may bestow upon you, farming, fishing, and playing some mini-games.
When it comes to the cooking system, you can follow a recipe or you can get creative. Whether you want to create culinary delights or be a questionable mad scientist, the world is your oyster! If you have a customer that is rarely satisfied, you can slip a potion into his food so that he changes his tune. And, if you have a raccoon moment where a customer has something shiny that you want, you can slip a sleeping pill into his beer to rummage through his belongings when he sleeps.
Go ahead and experiment, make your patrons into guinea pigs. Who is going to stop you, other than your own guilty conscience?
Lastly, we’ll talk about that princess I mentioned in the title. It would seem that you have company down in the dungeons in the form of a very sleepy princess. It’s your job to try to keep her awake. You’ll do that by giving her gifts, and if you give her something she likes, she’ll reward you by expanding and improving your tavern! Just be mindful of what you give her. If she doesn’t like your offering, there may be consequences.
Long Live My Lady! is done up in a pixel art style that I find exceedingly charming and a little nostalgic. I have no word on the exact date of release or how much it may be when it debuts. However, you’ll be able to keep an eye out for that information by keeping this game on your radar! You can do that by wishlisting the game, and doing so will help the developer out as well!
