If you’re familiar with a Little to the Left, you’ll enjoy this game, but it’s only an hour of content. |

Suitcase Stories is a short, organizing game that gives you about an hour of content. You’ll arrange items into 27 different “suitcases”. Some puzzles will have multiple solutions, and if you’re stuck on how to find all the paths, you can use a very helpful hint system.
The idea of the game is to take you throughout a life from childhood to adulthood and eventually into having kids of your own. Since you’re simply organizing objects, it’s a vague sense of life marching forward that could feel poignant if you’re looking for the details or easily skipped over if that’s not something that resonates with you.
There are no time limits and no rush to finish a level. So, you’re free to take things at your own pace and really enjoy the process of figuring out the puzzles. There was a puzzle or two that I didn’t quite understand, and I was able to get the help of the hint system. But, otherwise, I found the challenge level to be on the cozier side of things. I believe that kids could even find enjoyment in figuring out the puzzles.

There are 25 Steam achievements to collect and I was able to acquire them all throughout the gameplay. So, you don’t have to worry about missing something due to hidden achievements hiding some minute details.
This may end up being my smallest review to date because there simply isn’t much to talk about. It’s a fun, relaxing game with a cute style and I’d recommend it for anyone who enjoys organizing items.
The only downside I can see is the price point. It’s not my favorite thing to nitpick, but all I can do is be honest. This game was sent to me for review, but if I were considering it with my own money, an hour of content for $8 would give me pause. So, that may be something you need to weigh out for yourself.
If you’d like to get Suitcase Stories, you can get it on Steam for $6.99. Right now, it has a 40% off sale for launch that lasts until March 24th, making it $4.19 for a limited time. And, honestly, at that reduced price? It makes it a lot easier for me to confidently recommend spending your money on.
