The end of December was kind of rough in terms of cozy games getting out, but there were games that I found to be interesting all the same! As always, this list is just my personal idea of cozy and may not fully align with what sparks interest in you.
We do our best not to highlight games that use Generative AI at any level of development or marketing. At the time of posting, these games have not reported or disclosed using Gen AI. Likewise, all articles are written and edited by humans… as evidenced by our occasional errors.
Cozy games released between December 29th, 2025 – January 2nd, 2026

FloraLumina
FloraLumina is an idle game with time management elements. Plant and nurture a bunch of different flowers that will grow in real time and are affected by the weather and time of day. You can encourage them to grow quicker with intervention or let them flourish more slowly while you sit back and watch. Choose decorative flower pots, enjoy ambient music, and discover 20 flower types with the chance of finding rarer color variants.
Fruit Fusion!
Fruit Fusion! is a Suika-style deckbuilder. By merging fruit inside a crane game, you’ll get bigger fruit and earn cards that can be used to upgrade your gameplay! All you have to do is pay attention to the stars and not let your fruit pile get above a certain line.

Buttons Up!
Buttons Up! is an incremental game where you collect buttons and keep them safe from thieves. The more buttons you have, the more upgrades you can implement and automate your button-collecting operation.
The Power of Fish
The Power of Fish is a fishing game with puzzle and creature-collector elements. You’ll head out to the pond and catch some fish, but what do you do once you’ve caught them? Interrogate them, of course! Question the fish, see if there is more to them, and ascend them, just be careful not to advance any evil fish!

No Rest for Lex
No Rest for Lex is a point-and-click adventure that is giving me a heavy ’90s vibe for this type of game. I’m talking, old school Monkey Island. Play between Lex and Gina as you navigate being a victim of playing a protagonist. The show must go on and despite Lex finding his place in life, he has to take up arms for his last adventure. This is technically a sequel series, but it gets put here because it looks AMAZING and what could be better than one game, but three!
