If you’ve been playing Pokémon TCG Pocket, you’re likely familiar with the structure of getting a new set every month by now. Starting on August 28th, you’ll be able to open up packs for the newest themed booster set, Secluded Springs.
In Secluded Springs, you’ll encounter Pokémon from Pokémon Gold and Pokémon Silver, including the three legendary beast Pokémon: Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. As you can expect from this era of gaming, you’ll be able to add several Pokémon from the Johto era to your collection, but what you might not expect is seeing some Pokémon from the Hoenn region as well!
You can expect to see the aforementioned legendary dogs, but we’ve seen more confirmed Pokémon like Latias, Latios, Mantyke, Milotic, Phanpy, and Slugma.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Secluded Springs Events
Throughout September, Secluded Springs will have four different in-app events to look forward to.
- September 3rd-13th, you can take part in the Zoroark Drop Event, where you take on solo battles in order to earn new promo cards, including Zoroark.
- September 8th-14th, you can enjoy a Bonus Week event where you can complete Bonus Week missions in exchange for pack hourglasses and other rewards.
- September 15th-24th, a Wonder Pick event will be underway that allows you to obtain promo cards featuring Miltank and Phanpy. During this time, you can complete missions that will award you event shop tickets.
- September 26th-October 1st brings a Water-type Pokémon Mass Outbreak Event. During this time, you’ll have rare and bonus picks of Water-type Pokémon to collect.
What Pokémon are you most excited to catch? Personally, I’ve always been a fan of Milotic and the Secluded Springs full art is absolutely stunning.
