The Pokémon Company announced the next set for Pokémon TCG Pocket this morning, Eevee Grove, and announced that it’ll be out on Thursday, June 26th. That’s just over a week from now to give you time to prepare!
If you couldn’t tell by the set name, Eevee Grove (previously known as A3b to those who keep track) focuses on everyone’s favorite fluff ball, Eevee, and all of its evolutions. If you’re unfamiliar with Eevee, it evolves a number of different ways into various Pokémon in the main games, anime, and everywhere else. This is determined by various factors, such as using a Water Stone or leveling it up with high friendship at night. Each evolution is a different element within Pokémon’s various types.
The list of evolutions, lovingly nicknamed “Eeveelutions”, is:
- Vaporeon: Water-type
- Flareon: Fire-type
- Jolteon: Electric-type
- Umbreon: Dark-type (known as Darkness-type in Pokémon TCG Pocket)
- Espeon: Psychic-type
- Glacion: Ice-type (is considered Water-type in Pokémon TCG Pocket)
- Leafeon: Grass-type
- Sylveon: Fairy-type (is considered Psychic-type in Pokémon TCG Pocket)
What can we expect and speculate about Eevee Grove?
While a full list has not been compiled, it’d be easy to infer and speculate what to expect from this themed booster pack set. Eevee Grove may include all of the Eeveelutions, but it seems to only have “ex” cards for Eevee ex, Sylveon ex, and Flareon ex across the nine possible floofs. All three of these cards are likely part of the new deck lineup.
In addition, Penny, a character from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet who utilizes Eevee in the game, is more prominent with a dedicated Penny supporter card and an Eevee Bag trainer card. The Supporter likely will have a full art variant as well. It’s also likely that a non-ex deck may be part of this set featuring her.
While the focus is on Eevee, that’s not all you’ll get in Eevee Grove. Since the mainline games’ Fairy-type is no longer part of the main physical Pokémon TCG (like it used to be), Fairy-type is now considered Psychic-type in card form, similar to how Rock and Ground are both under Fighting-type or Ice Pokémon are part of Water-type in card form.
But, that won’t stop Pokémon TCG Pocket from introducing a lineup of Fairy-type Pokémon in this set to go along with Sylveon. Swirlix, Milcery, and Alcremie are featured in the trailer, seemingly having a great combo and meta capability to work together, while being considered Psychic-type.

You can check out the official trailer for Eevee Grove and expect to see the set drop at your usual “new day” time on June 26th, 2025. Here in the Eastern Time Zone, that’d be 2 AM. You can download Pokémon TCG Pocket for Android and iOS.
