Cozy Games Today: 6 games out on Steam today that will rattle your bones, french your toast, and tro your lolo - IYKYK - December 18th, 2025

Yes, admittedly, the pool is still small for cozy game potential. There’s only one finger more than a handful, but this crop today has silly gimmicks, a platformer that makes me excited, and a silly little point and click game that my millennial heart can’t help but make grabby hands for.

Pardon My French Toast is a 3D platformer that might be a little more action-packed than some cozy gamers would like, but gives me heavy Super Mario Odyssey vibes, which I found cozy. Play as toast and cover yourself in different spreads to execute unique abilities. Explore dozens of levels looking for candies to fuel the boat you’re on and find tons of collectibles while doing it!

HEART of CROWN Online is a deckbuilding strategy card game. With the untimely death of the emperor before peace could be solidified across the nations, chaos has broken loose. There are 7 princesses who could take up the mantle and it’s up to you to pick a princess and help her restore peace.

What do You Call a Group of Skeletons? – Pilot

What do You Call a Group of Skeletons? – Pilot is a comedy adventure that offers a small taste of what could be a bigger pie. Explore two levels filled with puzzles, funny narrative, and the all-important accessory — HATS! It may not be a full game, but I’m deeply amused and it sure looks cozy.

There are only six games on offer today and some might be arguably more cozy than others, but I’m fairly hyped for a few of them. Pardon My French Toast doesn’t scream excessively cozy, but I had the best time with Super Mario Odyssey and I get the same vibes. And, I’m endlessly amused by What do You Call a Group of Skeletons? It may be just two short levels, but I think it’s a really funny premise and I hope they get enough positive feedback to continue working on it.
