Camplandia brings the camplife to your computer screen. It’s a 2D pixel art game about managing a summer camp. You’ll be in charge of everything: building, managing, hiring staff, keeping campers happy, and unlocking activities.
From what I understand of the description, it appears that you’ll be able to choose between three terrains to start your soon-to-be-thriving camp. Whether you want to set up in the snowy mountains, on the beach, or within a forest, you can make the camp you’ve always wanted to attend.
Once you’ve gotten the essentials down like beds, showers, and the cafeteria, you’ll be able to focus on staff to help with the cooking and cleaning. Meanwhile, this leaves you free to organize fun activities like fishing, kayaking, and fireside gatherings. It’s in your best interest to keep your campers happy because you’ll need their positive reviews to keep them enticed to return.
With the spare revenue you garner, you’ll have the capital to unlock new upgrades and technologies to further grow your camp!
OddBall Interactive is the developer and consists of one person. It’s always a joy and a mind-boggling concept to wrap your head around. Seeing one person manage so many hats is incredibly impressive.
At this moment, we don’t have any word on when we can expect to see Camplandia debut, but if you’re interested in keeping it on your radar and helping out the developer, you can wishlist Camplandia on Steam.
