Spirit City: Lofi Sessions is a longtime favorite here at Comfy Cozy Gaming. We’ve enjoyed everything the game has had to offer from the base game, the Cozy Kitchen DLC, the spring update, the summer update, and the surprise addition of The Crewmate from Among Us.

If you’re unfamiliar with Spirit City, it’s an ambient wonderland that is designed for relaxation and productivity. While it has the standard Pomodoro timers and task lists, it sets itself apart by offering creativity and individuality. You have the ability to dress up your avatar in dozens of items and decorate your room with an abundance of styling options. While you revel in your own personal heaven, you can enjoy ambient sounds, lo-fi playlists, and spend time with the spirit companion of your choice.

Before, you could just decorate a bedroom or a kitchen space with the Cozy Kitchen DLC. Now, we’re setting off on a train! All Aboard is an upcoming (paid) DLC that will be arriving later this year. There’s no word on how much it will cost, but the Cozy Kitchen DLC was $7.99, so we can likely expect the price point to land somewhere in there.

Spirit City: All Aboard will bring the expected ability to customize your train cabin. You’ll be able to pick your own seating, windows, and decorate an open-air observation deck. Along with this new space to decorate, you’ll have new spirits to collect!

From what I can understand of the press release, the view outside your window won’t be showing one feature. You’ll have several views zooming by your window to simulate being on an actual train ride, whether that’s the serene countryside or the fantastical cloudscapes of the Sky District. This train is capable of traveling to all corners of Spirit City.

With the addition of a “Sky District” to Spirit City lore, I have to wonder if there are other districts. Especially since the new spirit companions are described as being at “every destination”. Not only are we going to be treated to new spirits, but we’re being dangled the carrot of regional variants of some already known spirits.

In this new space, you’ll be able to have your avatar enjoy new activities like journaling, admiring the train’s decor, or gazing out the window.

It doesn’t mention if there are new avatar items, but it’s possible you might find a few new items suited for travel to get your avatar ready for their journey!

I’m extremely excited for this new DLC and the new spirit companion that we can see in the trailer. I need the carrier pigeon yesterday, and I can’t wait to see what colors he comes in.

If you want to keep the All Aboard DLC on your radar, you can wishlist it on Steam!
