You know, I never sat down with Spirit City and thought, “You know what this game is missing? Imposters.” And yet, a collaboration between Mooncube Games’ Spirit City: Lofi Sessions and Innersloth’s Among Us doesn’t seem at all out of place.
This update drops at the same time as the Steam Summer Sale, so if you don’t have Spirit City yet, you can snag it for 33% off the regular price of $11.99. Additionally, this update is entirely free! Everyone with access to the game can enjoy this fun little addition to an amazing game. This Among Us collab will bring us an adorable little Crewmate companion that we can hang out with while we chill out or get some tasks crossed off our to-do list. You can even join the fun with the new mini Crewmate hat so you can hang out with your Crewmate while you wear a Crewmate. I’m sure neither of you is the impostor. Unless….?
It’s not just avatar items that are new, however! You’ll be able to apply a new background to the bay window that depicts the glittering stars of space. Every so often, you might get a visitor in the form of a Crewmate who has been ejected floating by. Hopefully, they weren’t innocent.
And, lastly, you can kit out your room with two new decorations! You can triple your chances of being in the same room as the imposter by decorating with a Crewmate plushie while you wear a Crewmate hat and hanging out with a Crewmate. Or, you can go the safe route and put down the all-important Emergency Meeting Button. No imposters will get the drop on you when you call a meeting with your spirit companions!
It looks like you’ll be able to change the color of your Crewmate the same as you can any other companion and each of them sports their own personal hat for added style! And, the plushies and Crewmate hats will be available in different colors as well!

Personally, I’m pretty stoked about this adorable collaboration. I love it when well-loved games get together to insert Easter Eggs into each other’s games. I’m going to have to redo my whole avatar in order to match my green little bean boy.
