If you’re like us here at Comfy Cozy Gaming, you’re always expecting the next booster pack set to arrive each month. Announced last week, Extradimensional Crisis is the next new themed booster pack set to arrive and you don’t need to wait long as it’ll be out on May 29th.
Extradimensional Crisis continues the Pokémon Sun and Moon theme of April’s Celestial Guardians set, bringing more cards focused on Ultra Beasts. In the Pokémon core games, Ultra Beasts, as the set name says, are extradimensional monsters from Ultra Wormholes in Ultra Space and they cause a lot of trouble for the protagonist and their friends. The Extradimensional Crisis is coming this week!
In the Extradimensional Crisis set, you’ll find Ultra Beasts like Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego and Guzzlord ex. But, you can also expect some near-endgame Pokémon from the core games like Type: Null, an experiment from the Aether Foundation. There are a ton more great cards in this set as well.
In addition, the Pokémon Company also announced upcoming events throughout June to earn rewards and promo cards.
- Ultra Beast Drop Event (June 3 at 11 p.m. PDT to June 13 at 10:59 p.m. PDT): Take on special solo battles to obtain new promo cards, including Ultra Necrozma ex.
- Wonder Pick Event (June 11 at 11 p.m. PDT to June 21 at 10:59 p.m. PDT): Obtain new promo cards such as Poipole and Stufful and obtain event shop tickets by completing missions.
- Ultra Beast Mass Outbreak Event (June 22 at 11 p.m. PDT to June 28 at 10:59 p.m. PDT): Cards relating to Ultra Beasts will appear in rare picks and bonus picks.
