I recently did an article about the cozy games from 2025 that got a perfect score and while that’s a crowning achievement, they don’t call it dressing to the nines for nothing! One little number doesn’t discredit the greatness or joy these games have brought me. So, I’m doing another list of fantastic cozy games that I played in 2025!

All of these games got 9’s across the board and… really, that’s just as good as a 10. Fight me.

I did 64 scored reviews this year and that doesn’t include previews or demos. Adding those in, I wouldn’t be exaggerating to say that I’ve played over 100 cozy games this year. I know cozy. Admittedly, cozy can be a biased opinion, but I’m fairly confident that you’ll find at least one game from this list to get comfy cozy with.

More of the best cozy games from 2025!

Prim

PRIM

Quick Verdict: PRIM hits all the right spots for me in what I look for in a point-and-click game. Not only is the story and art style good, but it’s clear the player was at the forefront of the design and choices. There are two different ways to get clues and I felt the puzzles made sense. I had a genuinely good time playing PRIM.

Mika and the Witch’s Mountain

Quick Verdict: Mika and the Witch’s Mountain is about an 8-hour game that lets you zoom around delivering packages and finding collectibles. I had a lot of fun exploring the island and getting to live my best witch life.

A Game About Digging A Hole

A Game About Digging A Hole

Quick Verdict:  If you want to spend time digging a hole, then this is the game for you! You work on an upgrade system where you sell the things you find and buy better equipment to dig some more. It’s a simple premise, but it’s a fun way to toil away some time.

Urban Jungle

Quick Verdict: Urban Jungle is a very charming little puzzle, sim game where you get to place down a concerning amount of plants. I enjoyed the game very much and I do recommend it. However, there are only about 3 hours of content – 4 if you do achievements.

Promise Mascot Agency

Promise Mascot Agency

Quick Verdict: While there are a few qualms with Promise Mascot Agency, the overall game is a triumph. This may be my favorite game this year. The graphics, the story, and the music are perfect and the ability to run around freely was a joy. I just wish there were indicators for everything on the map and that the truck flew better once that upgrade is unlocked.

Flibbius McDoogle and the Mysterious Flying Machine

Quick Verdict: Flibbius McDoogle and the Mysterious Flying Machine is an adorable little game with puzzles that offer a little challenge without being illogical. I wish the controls worked a little differently, but they didn’t impede gameplay ability. Other than a superficial dialogue hiccup surrounding berries when berries weren’t used, I had no problems.

Camper Van: Make it Home

Camper Van: Make it Home

Quick Verdict: Camper Van: Make it Home is a cozy environment where you place down items to make your camper van more homey. It has the whisper of a story underneath, but the focus is on placement. The only thing I wish were more fluid is the initial camera angle setup in each level.

Idle Waters

Quick Verdict: Idle Waters may be an idle game, but you can damn near play actively. There’s a ton of fish, items, locations, and NPCs and I had such a good time managing them all.

Catto's Post Office

Catto’s Post Office

Quick Verdict: Catto’s Post Office is a short and sweet game that I enjoyed. It’s only about an hour of gameplay and if you want all the achievements, you’ll need to replay it once to choose different options. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the little extra tasks you could complete for achievements.

Is This Seat Taken?

Quick Verdict: Is This Seat Taken? is a great game for those who love puzzles but want to play on a lower difficulty setting. The challenge level does scale up as you progress, but with no time limits or penalties for switching people around until you get it right.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Quick Verdict: Hello Kitty Island Adventure isn’t the type of game where you can play as long as you’d like. There are stopgaps that keep you from progressing because it was built on a mobile model. Instead, you’ll get something you can come back to daily and progress with at a more sedate pace.

LAN Party Adventures

Quick Verdict: LAN Party Adventures is going into the vault of my favorite games. I loved every second of playing, and I highly recommend this title to anyone who loves simulators, puzzles, and mysteries. You’ll feel like one of the Scooby Gang with this one.

Whisper of the House

Whisper of the House

Quick Verdict: Whisper of the House is a fantastic example of what I feel an organizational game should be. You’re free to arrange things as you’d like, and you’re given enough space to do that. With the ability to explore the town, it kept things from feeling too stagnant, and the overarching mystery kept me coming back for more.

UMAMI

Quick Verdict: UMAMI is a magnetic jigsaw puzzle game with 15 puzzles to construct. The artstyle is incredibly charming and the game works like a dream, but the price tag feels a touch steep to me.
