As always, this list is my personal favorite cozy games from the week and ones that I’m going to be putting my focus on. With the Steam Winter Sale going on right now, I’ve taken the opportunity to grab eight games that I’ve talked to you guys about and two of them are from this list!
If you’re looking to take advantage of the sale going on, feel free to look at the lists I’ve begun posting daily! They’re all fresh and new for you to ogle over and make grabby hands at!
We do our best not to highlight games that use Generative AI at any level of development or marketing. At the time of posting, these games have not reported or disclosed using Gen AI. Likewise, all articles are written and edited by humans… as evidenced by our occasional errors.
Favorite cozy games out between December 15th and 19

Pardon My French Toast
Pardon My French Toast is a 3D platformer that might be a little more action-packed than some cozy gamers would like, but gives me heavy Super Mario Odyssey vibes, which I found cozy. Play as toast and cover yourself in different spreads to execute unique abilities. Explore dozens of levels looking for candies to fuel the boat you’re on and find tons of collectibles while doing it!
Meow Palace: Forbidden City
Meow Palace: Forbidden City is a desktop companion idle life sim that sits on your screen. Create your cat and go from a stray on the streets to living the life of luxury in a palace. Train 15 skills, craft items, and try to fill up your palace encyclopedia!

Peacequarium
Peacequarium is an idle sim that puts a charming aquarium on your desktop to keep you company. Grow, keep, or sell over 100 fish types across different rarities. Use earnings to buy upgrades and if you want to be social, link up to Twitch to allow viewers to spawn snails and turtles to give you extra income for a limited time.
The Son of Art
The Son of Art is an adventure exploration that takes you on a journey through the inner worlds of four 20th-century artists. Dive into the works of Picasso, Malevich, Magritte, and Mondrian to feel their art on another level and solve puzzles related to their works.

Penny for Your Potion
Penny for Your Potion is a shop sim. You’ll grow a garden of ingredients and use the yield to brew up potions to sell in your shop. With a leveling and skill tree system, you can improve your game. Boasting over 20-30 hours of gameplay, you’ll have a lot of time to get to know the locals and to beat out your biggest competitor.
P.I.S.
P.I.S. is a steampunk point-and-click puzzle game where your entire goal is to free your character from situations. With no text, anyone of any language can enjoy the game. It’s done in a paper art style and has three endings: good, bad, and normal. It’s a smaller game, but it has a small price tag as well that supports a solo dev.
