We get reached out to a lot about cozy games that are upcoming and I wish we had the bandwidth to highlight each and every game in its own article. Unfortunately, it’s just not possible at this time for us and I feel bad when I can’t give these games the love they so sorely deserve.
So, here we are at the middle ground. Some coverage is better than none and I urge you all to go to each of these Steam pages, check out the games, and please, please wishlist the ones that catch your eye. It helps out the developers so much.
In case you didn’t know, wishlist numbers aren’t a useless metric. It can signal to Steam’s algorithm as to what’s popular and helps push the game to larger audiences. Equally, wishlist numbers can attract publishers and investors to indie developers. You’re giving them a metric to show bigger companies and that’s huge.
Whether you intend to buy the game or not, if the game is of interest to you, it’s so easy to show them support by simply adding them to your wishlist. Aside from posting about them, it’s the single most important and effortless way to boost indie devs.
I don’t anticipate this becoming a staple article of Comfy Cozy Gaming because, ideally, we’ll push out more individualized content, but I can’t promise bandwidth will get better. So, if you do happen to see more of these articles, please come check them out. This article, more so than Cozy Games Today, will have the more widely accepted idea of cozy gaming.
We do our best not to highlight games that use Generative AI at any level of development or marketing. At the time of posting, these games have not reported or disclosed using Gen AI. Likewise, all articles are written and edited by humans… as evidenced by our occasional errors.
Cozy Games to Covet

Hunter’s Seal
Hunter’s Seal puts you in the shoes of the receptionist at the front desk of a hunter’s guild. You’ll verify hunters’ identities, identify monsters, and approve (or disapprove) hunting requests. The guild’s reputation is already in question, so the pressure is on for you to make the right choice. I love this idea and if you enjoyed games like Papers, Please or That’s Not My Neighbor, you’ll probably love Hunter’s Seal.
Squarepinski
Squarepinksi is an interesting jigsaw puzzle. Every piece is the same square shape, but you’ll have to manipulate the pieces to make them fit. The squares can be rotated, flipped, and made larger. It takes the humble jigsaw and turns it on its head. I didn’t think there was another way to put a spin on the classic game, but here we are!

Cozy Marbles
Cozy Marbles is going to be a delight for builders. You’ll be able to create marble runs with a vast assortment of pieces in wood, metal, or plastic. Once you’ve built it up, you can set your marbles loose. Choose the color of your marbles, give them faces, or dress them up in hats for an even livelier race to the finish. I can’t be the only one mesmerized by marble runs, right? I’m not much of a builder, but I yearn to see the marbles race each other down.
Spherical Symphony
Spherical Symphony is all about balance. You’ll play with several planets trying to equalize their living systems. Along the way, you’ll recruit helpers, befriend cosmic sea creatures, repel threats, awaken a sleeping sun, and trade between the worlds. I’m going to be honest, just promising me the ability to befriend a space whale is all I needed.

The Regreening
The Regreening is a solarpunk simulation game about restoring nature. You’ll clear the land, recycle what you can, and craft new things from the debris. Through growing plants, you’ll create a thriving ecosystem, turning a desert landscape into a sprawling and lively greenery. I think it looks like a perfectly cozy way to spend time and I’m looking forward to seeing more about it.
Steam | No Demo Yet
Which of these games are making it onto your wishlist? I’m intrigued by all of them for various reasons, but I can’t ignore the ability to anthropomorphize marbles and send them racing down twisting turns against each other. I am a sucker for Little Guys™.
If any of these strike your fancy, please add them to your wishlist. If there’s nothing here that makes you excited for the future, then turn your sights to the present and check out the most recent Cozy Games Today from today, the 19th.
