The Nintendo Store app is now available on Android and iOS. And with it comes an interesting feature that is absolutely a surprise: Play Activity. And if you’ve been a long-time Nintendo player wanting to go down memory lane, this is a function you don’t want to miss.
In the new Nintendo Store app, you can find the “Play Activity” section, which will offer you a complete history of everything you’ve ever played on your connected account, all the way back to the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U, organized by year, amount played, or other criteria.
How to check your Play Activity in the Nintendo Store App

- Download the Nintendo Store app from your app store of choice, on Android or iOS.
- Log in to your My Nintendo account within the Nintendo Store app and choose your profile.
- Once it loads, go to your User Page, located on the bottom right-hand corner of the app, presented as your chosen profile Mii.
- Scroll to the bottom and choose “Play Activity”.
- You’ll see “Recent Activity” and “All Activity”. By default, All Activity is set to “Date first played”. If you scroll all the way to the bottom, you’re going to see everything you’ve ever opened in the modern Nintendo consoles, even Settings.
- You can change the list to be Date first played, Most recently played, Total time played, and Game System. Each one has a great way of displaying the information, and it’s worth checking them each out.
- Clicking on any of the icons will open up all of the statistics you could ever dream of for your nostalgia hit, including dates of your first and last time playing that game/app, days you’ve played total, total time played (estimated), and all of the daily play activity organized by date and amount of gametime.
If you’re a parent looking to monitor your child’s play time on Fortnite for Nintendo Switch or just looking to see how long you actually played Animal Crossing: New Horizons during quarantine, the Nintendo Store app has you covered.
Speaking of which, if you’re a fan of the Animal Crossing series, you can take advantage of your love for the franchise with both the Nintendo Music app to jam to chill beats all day long, or you could utilize the Nintendo Switch App’s NookLink for free goodies in your game.
