Mirealle is a new puzzle game that should be on the list of everyone who enjoys games like Monument Valley, Fez, or Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. It brings the same idea of spinning your environment and looking at things from various vantage points in order to figure out the correct path.
In Mirealle, we follow a story about a world that has been split into innumerable floating islands. Amongst the ruins is a forgotten history that is waiting to be discovered. On one of those islands is a girl who has set up a life with her Corgi. It’s quiet and peaceful until she takes the plunge to explore the ruins left behind.
Each island appears to have its own little story to tell that you may be able to join together to weave a bigger picture of what once was.
Mirealle is described as a meditative puzzle adventure where there appear to be no time constraints. You’re free to take as long as you need without any pressure to solve each puzzle the islands bring forth. You’ll use logic and observation skills in order to conquer the puzzles ahead.
Personally, I love this idea that each little island is like a snapshot in time, just waiting for the secrets and history to be unearthed. I’m fairly excited to be able to delve into Mirealle and enjoy the cozy, slow progression of learning lore and besting puzzles.
At this moment, there’s no word on when Mirealle can be expected to launch, but I certainly hope it’s soon. If you’d like to keep the game on your radar and help out the dev, then run over to Steam and wishlist the game.
