The House Flipper franchise is celebrating its 7th birthday with a free weekend and DLC for House Flipper 2! You’ll be able to experience this on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S.
You’ll be able to play the full game, free of charge, from May 15th-19th on Steam and from May 15th-18th on consoles. This means that if you really want to go hard on playing House Flipper 2, you may be able to play most, if not all, of the game for FREE.
If you don’t have the time to invest, you can give the game a try and take advantage of the 35% off sale going on concurrently with this free weekend. That makes the game $25.99 on Steam and PlayStation, unfortunately, Xbox is less percentage off and is $29.99.
If you have friends who want to play, you can take advantage of the new free co-op DLC and play with them! Co-op is cross-platform, so no matter what version you and three of your homies play, you can play together.
No worries if you prefer to play alone because the new DLC allows you to enjoy the new content just as easily.
The DLC brings four-player cross-platform ability, four unique orders with co-op in mind, and 4 brand new properties to unlock.

As someone who loved House Flipper to pieces, I’ve had House Flipper 2 on my radar to snag for a while now. So, getting a chance to hop into the game and play to my heart’s content seemed like a perfect opportunity that I couldn’t pass up.
I’m happy to report that House Flipper 2 plays a lot like the original and I didn’t encounter any issues with playing. Early on, this game focuses on just picking up trash and cleaning, as well as a new little feature: unpacking. No doubt taking inspiration from organizational games that have been popular lately, you can help people unpack boxes and figure out where things go.
As you play, you’ll slowly open up more things to do, like vacuuming and editing wiring. I had a very good time running around helping people and I love that instead of playing in a tiny home like in House Flipper, you get to take residence in your sprawling childhood home.
Not only does this give you a perfect place to practice using all your skills, but it gives you a giant canvas to convert to your own.
Like with the original, as you play, you’ll be able to upgrade your tools to make cleaning up a property even easier.
I got about five jobs in, so there’s a ton more for me to explore. The only thing I’d say is that because the camera is constantly moving, if you’re motion sensitive, it may eventually give you a headache or feel queasy. I’m one such unfortunate individual, but man, it’s worth it.
We recently talked about May being Mental Health Awareness Month and House Flipper 2 would fit on that list. My brain was able to shut off entirely. One might even say that House Flipper 2 made my brain go brrr.
If you’d like to try out House Flipper 2 for free, you can get it on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation. Earlier, I mentioned organizational games, so feel free to check out my list of 3 organizational games I enjoyed.
