Quick Verdict: Catto’s Post Office is a short and sweet game that I enjoyed. It’s only about an hour of gameplay and if you want all the achievements, you’ll need to replay it once to choose different options. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the little extra tasks you could complete for achievements.

Pros: The aesthetics are adorable, you get to sit in boxes and knock things over, and there are 18 achievements packed in such a compact game.

Catto’s Post Office is a tiny but adorable game that features Catto, the Postcat! There are several deliveries that Catto needs to make, so you follow him through the cat-themed town as he runs his errands. As you explore, you’ll find pots to knock over, cans to kick, and boxes to sit in.

Along the way, you’ll run into a few townsfolk who will want help with extra tasks. I loved all the little details like pawprints on the door or planters shaped like cat heads. Catto’s Post Office excels in achieving aesthetic charm.

While we help Catto deliver his packages for the day, we get a little backstory that it’s Catto’s birthday, but unfortunately, all of the townsfolk seem to have forgotten. Thankfully, Catto is a positive little cat and doesn’t let this fact ruin his day.

I loved playing Catto’s Post Office. The little town was cute, all the cats had different designs, there were a few tasks to do outside of packages, and most of the achievements were fairly easy to figure out based on environmental clues.

There’s a small bit of replayability because you have a few choices in the game that give achievements. By picking one answer, you get an achievement, but to get the other one, you have to restart and pick that answer.

I think it was smart to pack 18 achievements in because it helped round out the game to feel more complete.

Honestly, I wish I had more to say about Catto’s Post Office, but it’s a succinct and compact little game. It’s great for everyone, but kids would especially get a kick out of it.

If you’d like to give Catto’s Post Office a try, you can get it over on Steam for $4.99. For a limited time, you can get it for 20% making it $3.99 until August 18th. While you’re here, feel free to check out more of my reviews like Tall Trails or Tales of the Shire: A The Lord of the Rings Game.
