Arcane Eats, a fantasy-inspired card battler that revolves around food, is part of Wholesome Snack! This roguelike deckbuilder invites you to build your own deck from hundreds of ingredients and kitchen implements.

Brandishing your deck and your mad card skills, you’ll get to serve customers with an ever-increasing chain of recipes, offering up dishes like Starlight Poutine and the Beyond the Beyond Burger.

Even though your cooktops are enchanted and there are a fair number of boosts to help you get through the dinner rush, customers can get impatient and some will even swipe food right off the cooktop as it’s being prepared if their hunger pains take over.

Don’t worry, you’ll be able to buy fresh ingredients and shiny new kitchen tools from the various stores on the map when you’re not on shift at your restaurant. You’ll want to pick up as much as you think you’ll need. 

Your customers are hungry and unpredictable, so it’s never a bad idea to keep some extra Dragon’s Breath hot sauce on hand. As you progress, you can also hire waitstaff and sous chefs to keep your kitchen running as smoothly as possible while you deal with the customers.

In addition to keeping your patrons happy, you’ll have to do your best to keep the health & purity inspector away, and make sure you have enough money to keep your doors open. All that, plus you’ll be clamoring for a foothold in the three Cooking Guilds.
