Faves from the Week: 7 cozy games from the past week that I've got on my wishlist! November 3rd-7th

This past week had a bunch of new cozy games on offer, but which ones made it onto my personal wishlist? One of them, I’ve already played and reviewed. The rest? Well… admittedly, there’s an awful lot of desktop companions.

I’d say sorry, but I like a good little idler and it’s hardly my fault that this week gave us a bounty and that 3 of the 7 are cozy little desktop companions.

Dream Garden

Dream Garden is a sandbox builder that allows you to build the zen garden of your dreams. Creative freedom is at your fingertips as you decide the size, shape, terrain, weather, and time of day of your zen garden. Personalize every aspect by changing the colors and shapes of items. Spoiler alert: I’ve played this one and it’s absolutely LOVELY.

NoSlack Pets: Lo-Fi Paws is a desktop companion that is designed to help you stay focused, wrapped up in an adorable package. Enjoy a gift box to open every 30 minutes to win headgear and earn Paw Coin/XP every minute to buy decorations for your room. Idle alone with a pomodoro timer, Lo-Fi music, and white noise, or jump into an online study room to idle with others. If you want a bit more interactivity, you can play a few mini-games or use a claw machine to get more gift boxes!

My Little Spider

My Little Spider is a desktop companion where you get to put a little web on your screen. You’ll be able to decorate it and your spider with adornments. Over time, your spider will collect bugs that turn into coins you can use to buy different cosmetic items and upgrade your spider. Discover 50 different bugs and complete quests, all while idling away.

A Pizza Delivery

A Pizza Delivery is a walking sim with narrative exploration and puzzle elements. Deliver pizza through liminal spaces on foot or by scooter and meet interesting people. This game serves as a limbo of sorts, and you’ll get to explore the atmosphere and learn more about the inhabitants by sharing a slice of pizza together.

Which cozy games from this list would you play? I think all of them would be a very fun, relaxing time, and I know for a fact that Dream Garden is AMAZING. I’ll be playing A Pizza Delivery soon, so if you’re interested in seeing my thoughts on that one, you’ll have to stay tuned.
