With all the excitement of Fall, I damn near forgot to post the September Cozy Game Roundup. Let’s just agree that what’s important is that I’m getting out in the first week. Cool? Cool.

Fall is, without a doubt, my favorite season. It’s not too hot, too cold, or the season of allergies. I challenge you to find a better season, but please understand that the deck is stacked and rigged. There is no better season for cozy gaming and no amount of differing opinion will change my mind on this.

From what I can see, it’s going to be a great season for cozy gaming. While we wait for games like Animula Nook and Lofita, let’s look back at September and see what cozy games we have to sate ourselves with until more games drop into our gaming libraries.

September Cozy Game Roundup – 2025

LAN Party Adventures - cozy game roundup

Lan Party Adventures

Quick Verdict: LAN Party Adventures is going into the vault of my favorite games. I loved every second of playing, and I highly recommend this title to anyone who loves simulators, puzzles, and mysteries. You’ll feel like one of the Scooby Gang with this one.

Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game

Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game

Quick Verdict: Little Problems: A Cozy Detective Game is a fill-in-the-blank style game where you find clues through observation and then use those to solve the mystery. I enjoyed that the cases were short and sweet with a hint system that ensured you didn’t get stuck at any point throughout gameplay.

Henry Halfhead

Quick Verdict: Henry Halfhead is a sandbox adventure where you possess objects and complete tasks as you follow Henry throughout the stages of their life. For me, this one was hard to judge because there’s nothing wrong with the game, but something felt missing to me. I don’t know if it’s the pacing or the repetition of doing much the same thing throughout the game.

Monster Mop Up

Monster Mop Up

Quick Verdict: Monster Mop Up is a cleanup game that should have been a satisfying play, but the mechanics and ragdoll physics made it impossible to enjoy the process. You basically start on hard mode and are your own worst enemy in the early stages.
