Dungeon Pizza has gone live on Steam, and I find myself oddly charmed by the ability to add rat chunks and scarabs as a pizza topping. Maybe I’ve just been watching too much Delicious in Dungeon, but I’m willing to give questionable ingredients the old college try.

In Dungeon Pizza, you’ll take on the task of feeding weary adventurers by setting up a pizzeria within the depths of the dungeon. Since it’s not exactly easy to set up a trade route to the pizzeria, you’ll have to make do with what you can easily obtain, and that might be a rat or twelve.

Dungeon Pizza: You can’t be picky in a dungeon…

You’ll be in charge of everything from spreading the sauce around the dough to placing the individual toppings. By doing a good job, you’ll upgrade your skills and gain access to even more ingredients and recipes. And, while you don’t serve tea, you’re certainly going to be fed some by getting to know the adventurers, their stories, and even the relationships they have with each other!

You may be familiar with this sort of gameplay setup with games like Cooking Mama, but unlike those games, Dungeon Pizza gives grace to the player. You can play the game with just the mouse alone, and you won’t be penalized for not placing things perfectly.

Personally, I’m so excited for this game that I somehow convinced myself that it was coming out today. Unfortunately, we can’t enjoy the joys of cooking with dungeon goodies just yet, but we can anticipate an amazingly cozy and charming gaming experience when it does release in the future.

Go ahead and head over to the Dungeon Pizza Steam page and add the game to your wishlist. Not only will this help keep the game on your radar, but it will help the Growing Games team, who have put an amazing amount of effort into developing the game!

While you wait for Dungeon Pizza to drop, you can sate your appetite by playing Galaxy Burger! It also allows you to make food without any penalties.
