Most years, we get two major Pokémon Presents: one on Pokémon Day in February and one sometime during the summer. Well, Pokémon officially announced that this year’s summer Pokémon Presents will be on July 22nd, 2025, at 6 AM PST (or 9 AM EST).

We don’t have a lot of information to go on just yet, but we can infer some things from the Pokémon Day presentation that have not come to pass just yet. This may potentially include more information about Pokémon Champions, for instance.

Pokémon Champions was announced during this year’s Pokémon Day Presents as a stand-alone battling game that’ll be coming to the Nintendo Switch and mobile devices. It seems to work similarly to old battling-only games like Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Colleseum, and will let you pull Pokémon you have obtained from Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. We didn’t get a ton of information with the announcement, but it’s possible they’ll announce it’ll be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 as well, at the least, now that the Switch 2 is available.

But, the majority of the presentation will likely focus on the nearly-released Pokémon Legends: Z-A. We’ve been getting spoon-fed information this year about the game’s setting, the characters that you’ll meet in it, and the mechanics of the game itself. Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be out on October 16th, 2025.

We’ll also likely get news about Pokémon TCG Pocket. It’s close enough to the end of the month that we could get the July set announcement and trailer during the presentation. But, it’s even more likely that they’ll detail how the revamped trading system will work. Earlier today, Pokémon TCG Pocket announced details about it in-game. However, this could explain it for a more general audience, as the system will change on July 29th, a week after this Pokémon Presents.

It’s unknown (or Unown?) if there will be any other news about other Pokémon projects. We could possibly get a tease for Generation 10, but it’s unlikely that they’ll opt to overshadow the imminent release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A with news like that.

Here are our predictions and pipe dreams about what to expect from the presentation.

How to watch Pokémon Presents on July 22nd, 2025

The presentation will likely be available on the official Pokémon YouTube channel directly at the aforementioned upload date and time, July 22nd, 2025, at 6 AM PST. The direct link is live, and the video can be found here.

Update: There is an official DJ Pikachu pre-show, which has remixes of various tracks from the Pokémon soundtracks. The official presentation link is available as well.
